Picos is closely monitoring the latest announcements and following the guidelines issues by the Centers for Disease Contol (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and our local public health officials.
We have no higher priority than to keep our customers and employees safe. We always take sanitation seriously, and our efforts to keep our restaurant clean are rigorous. In light of the current situation we are stepping up cleaning of frequently touched surfaces including door handles, counter tops, restrooms, tables and chairs. We have placed hand sanitizer at the front entrance, at every waiter station, mounted on our bathroom walls, and at every station in the kitchen. This is a practice that was already in place prior to the outbreak.
We have communicated clearly with our staff that if they are not feeling well, they must stay home and will be excluded from operations until they are symptom free and get a release to return to work from their doctor.
If customers are not feeling well, we ask that they stay home and take advantage of delivery via Favor, Grubhub and Door Dash. We are also offering a $25 dining certificate on bulk to-go orders over $100 picked up by customers at the restaurant.
Until further notice we are no longer offering Sunday Brunch Buffet, however we will be open Sunday’s as usual, serving from our regular menu.
We know that this situation is presenting economic challenges for all of us, so we will be offering happy hour pricing all day every Monday – Thursday through Cinco de Mayo (May 5th).
All of us at Picos want to thank you for your support and understanding during this rapidly evolving situation. We promise to make every effort to support our customers, employees and the broader Houston community and we hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
Arnaldo Richards
