Experienced Waitstaff

What we’re looking for:

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience as a server in full service restaurants

(Preferably high-volume kitchens, but not required.)

Knowledge of Toast POS system preferable, but not required

Winning Attitude

It takes a team to keep our kitchens moving, and we expect everyone to be a team player.

Technique

Some servers that work on the floor at Picos have been around for 30+ years and have garnered clientele for themselves. We expect our servers to have excellent communication/people skills and the ability to sell customers on the authentic Mexican experience Picos has to offer.

Organization, Attention to Detail, Good Time Management

Picos is a high-volume kitchen and we expect you to be able to:

- Take direction.

- Have intention and attention to detail in your work

- Run an orderly section and know where things are kept and keep things organized

- Be organized in your work and manage your time effectively.

Availability + Stamina

Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time

Host/Hostess

What we’re looking for:

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience as a host/hostess

Comfortable talking with people, fielding phone calls and using the Resy Reservation system

Winning Attitude

It takes a team to keep our restaurant moving, and we expect everyone to be a team player.

Technique

We expect our hostesses to help run the service of our restaurant. Hostesses are the first point of contact customers have with Picos and we expect you to represent us well! We expect our hosts/hostesses to have excellent communication/people skills and the ability to instroduce customers to the authentic Mexican experience Picos has to offer

Picos is a high-volume kitchen and we expect you to be able to:

- Take direction

- Have intention and attention to detail in your work

- Run an orderly work station and know where things are kept and keep things organized

- Be organized in your work and manage your time effectively.

Availability + Stamina

Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time

Manager

What we’re looking for:

Experience

Minimum of 5 years experience in the Service Industry

Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management

Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar) preferred but not required

Knowledge of Toast POS systems and Resy Reservations a plus, but not required

Teamwork Mentality

Picos is a high volume restaurant and we expect our managers to operate with a strong teamwork mentality and winning attitude with everyone from support staff to other managers on the team

Organization, Attention to Detail, Good Time Management

We expect all of our managers to:

 - Take direction from ownership

 - Work well with other managers on the team

 - Have intention and detail in your work

 - Be organized in your work and manage your time and others’ time effectively

 - Maintain a positive flow between the kitchen and FOH

 - Act quickly, with precision and kindness when communicating with customers and staff

Open Availability

Must be available to work days, nights and weekends

Prep Cook

What we’re looking for:

Experience

Minimum of 2 years experience in the kitchen.

(Preferably high-volume kitchens, but not required.)

Technique

Strong knife skills and a range of cooking methods that set you apart.

Organization, Attention to Detail, Good Time Management

Picos is a high-volume kitchen and we expect you to be able to:

- Take direction.

- Have intention and attention to detail in your work: know your weights, measurements and volumes.

- Run an orderly work station: know where things are and keep your station organized.

- Execute orders in an efficient and timely manner.

- Be organized in your work and manage your time effectively.

Availability + Stamina

Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time, capable of lifting up to 50# and have full mobility (bend, reach, twist)

Baker

What we’re looking for:

Experience

Minimum of 2 years experience as a pastry cook.

(Preferably high-volume kitchens, but not required.)

Strong kitchen skills and a range of cooking methods that set you apart.
